It's that time of year again. I am normally not a big fan of this time of year but, it's been wonderful so far :)

So far we have made cookies, put up decorations (quite a bit earlier than usually), finished ALL our shopping, and last week saw the lights at Temple Square.

This is really sad, but the last time we saw the lights was way before AJ and we were still renting so yeah that's a good 4-5 years ago so it was a must this year :) AJ loved it especially the "big building with the little guy on top" (Angel Maroni).

Now left on our list is the yearly gingerbread house build, early Christmas with my family and of course Christmas morning!

I love Halloween! Okay, not the scary, part... but, I love FALL, the changing leaves, soup, trick or treating and of course this little guy...

He picked his costume out all by himself :) AJ loves Iron Man and everything about him! He won't wear the mask because it smashes his nose but for the picture he was good and held it up to his face so we can get the full effect.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and fun Halloween and eat lots of treats, I know I will!

I know I'm crazy!

Here I am sitting on the computer while AJ sleeps upstairs, and Jason works Graveyard. I HATE graveyard but, it's not forever so I can handle it... maybe....

Anyways! i just got done watching this movie....

Has anyone else seen it? Wow, it's sad. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone if you haven't, Just made me think how lucky I am to have the people I do in my life.

We had a great 4th of July weekend! To start it out we hung out with friends on Saturday, BBQed and played games. Sunday we saw my fam and later that night did fireworks in the circle :) This was my first try with firework pics and they were all taken manually too!

My wonderful Hubby a happy Fathers Day! He is such a wonderful man, and is such a support in our lives :) It also helps that he is one good looking Son of a Gun too. Love you babe!

I am leaving for my little vacation this afternoon and AJ and I are leaving him alone for a week. He'll have the dog but, I know we will be missed. Be a good boy, and keep yourself busy to make the week go by faster honey... we won't be gone too long!

Where have I been??

I realized it has been almost a month since I have posted anything! We've been sick in our house and it lasted for 2 weeks for all of us, it kicked my butt i will tell you. I haven't been that sick in years :(

To catch up on our April and May that I have missed...

We went with the fam to Goblin Valley which was so much fun! The weather was perfect and AJ had so much fun in the sand and climbing the Goblins with his dad and Steph. While in Price we also visited the Dino Museum and Train Museum in Helper. Those were way fun too :)

May 13th was Jason's Birthday. He had to work that night but a few days before we went to the Coheed & Cambria concert out at Salt Aire and had a blast! it's been years since we have seen them live and they were AMAZING :) We also went to see Iron Man 2 that week.

Other than being sick, we have been enjoying family time....and I've been crazy busy with photos (and knitting of course).

I've even read a few books which has been really nice :)

For Memorial Day we had a picnic lunch at Wheeler Farm and got to see lots of animals, we also went for a nice long drive up Imigration Canyon and stopped the Gateway on the way home!

That's our crazy busy life for a while. I will post pics of our adventures soon, don't have the time right now. But, we are still alive and kicking :)

These are way behind but, better late than never :) Last month Jason had a week vacation and we decided to have some fun family time. For one of those days we went to the zoo. It was a beautiful day! AJ loved the monkeys best of all but, he really enjoyed our day. He got to ride a monkey on the carousel and got to ride the train too :) He really enjoyed that! It was fun to spend a day as a family seeing all the animals, and getting some sun (where did it go by the way?).

All tuckered out after our long warm day :)

For Aunt Stephanie's birthday present AJ got to choose his own BUILD A BEAR. We thought he would choose the monkey but, instead chose the panda instead. We had fun seeing him pick and put the heart in :) At the end we ended up naming his panda Percy.

We had a great Easter! AJ got to hunt for eggs and we got to spend time with family :) His Lightning McQueen basket is the coolest, and he got Thomas & Friends bath toys which are his favorite. My mom and Stephanie are even taking the task of teaching me to knitt, and I am getting better. It's hard but I'm hard headed enough to do it. Thanks for the fun day family!

Baby Powder Surprise

It's always a scary thing when you know your son is up in his room playing and watching CARS, then it gets extremely quiet. As I walk up the stairs to his room and the smell of baby powder fills my nose I realize I have a mess waiting for me. Walking into his room this is what I find...

I got it! These are old pics...because we are now on week 3 without the pacifier. He is doing so well, it's like it didn't even exist and I watch a friends son on Mondays and Tuesdays and it doesn't even bother AJ that K has one and not him :)

Blogger is giving me a headache and won't let me post any pictures so you have to just read for now and pictures will follow once I can get them up.

The last few weeks have been good ones, other than AJ having a fever and an ear infection. Antibiotics are wonderful but they don't help in the diaper changing (RED BUM).

We had dinner with the fam for my Dad's Birthday, and once I can get pictures up I'll be sharing his card with you...so cute! AJ would not let anyone else hand it to his Grandpa and kept wanting to sit in his lap all night long. Needless to say, Grandpa kinda liked that :)

I've been making some fun crafts this month which include...capes (for AJ and his stuffed animals), Cars match games, Handy Manny tools out of felt (so cute), and I have been crocheting hats for photoshoots and of course for AJ :) See why I'm needing Blogger to work?

Now that it is getting warmer, we are starting our afternoon drives again. Jason wants to keep a map in the car so we can check out new places. Our most recent ride was around behind Eagle Mountain through Touelle. On our way we took a side road up to a little mining camp called Opher. I had no idea this place existed and I will tell you what, it's very interesting.

I found this pattern at the quilt store and had to give it a try. The measurements are found on this BLOG. My favorite part is the road for the cars to drive on.

And the pockets they fit in. Mater fit and he is big :)

And here it is all rolled up. It folds in half first then rolls so the cars won't fall out! AJ loves it, I just might have to make a few more :)

While in Price a few weeks ago my mom and i were sitting around talking and he started to hear some clanging and banging and giggling. It sounded like AJ was playing with Toby in the kennel and he was locking him in, but to our surprise he was in it himself! Silly little boy :)

This last week we have been trying the BIG BOY BED and I will tell you it's hard. He does really good with naps but, the night time is a challenge. Here he is laying in bed watching CARS (his favorite pass time).

I love the picture below, he loves his daddy! Jason can't believe how big he is, when he was brand new he could hold him with one arm.

Week of Fun!!

Jason had this last week off and we had some great times. Monday was our Anniversary and we went to see Sherlock Holmes and went to dinner at Macaroni Grill. It was nice to have a few hours to ourselves and celebrate 8 years together :)

For the rest of the week we relaxed, hung out with friends and visited family over the weekend. It was a great week!

White Elephant...

We had our annual White Elephant Gift Exchange party on Saturday at Ron and Brenda's house. We had fun as always and ate great food too.

Here's me and Jason and our gifts... Original Spock action figure and porceline horse.

The girls and their gifts... Chew and her smurf, Sarah got a years worth of McDonalds Happy Meal toys, and Cassie and her white elephant towel.

Adam ended up with some motivational posters and in the corner is Christy and her SNUGGIE.

Jeremy and his Jim Henson creepy movies and at the bottom is Ian with his broken mug and gross candy.

Jason and Ian stuffing all the gross candy in their mouths. YUCK!

Other gifts not pictured were...our chandeleir, Ron's old VHS collection (we kept from last year) Ron got it back! Brian and Michelle got a Kitty calendar and a Nightmare Before Christmas night light.

I'm On My Way!

My goal of losing 30 pounds is underway and I'm way excited to see how I do. I've gone 2 weeks now and 3 pounds have been lost. I know it's not that much but, I am really proud of myself and I am noticing a little more energy too :) I wanted to share what I am doing as far as exercise. It's kicking my butt and I'm sore after every workout :)

I know I won't look like Julianne when I'm done but, more energy and a few pant sizes are enough to make me happy.

New Years...

We had a great New Years. We played games, ate great food, played some video games, went sledding, and even got to see some friends who now live in Alaska.

Thinking over 2009 I've realized how much my life has changed in just one short year.

1. My photography has taken off very well, I've met such amazing people and families, become friends with other amazing photographers who are willing to give tips and tricks and have found something that I LOVE to do and will be doing for years to come :)

2. I've learned how challenging and exciting it is to be a good mom. I'm not perfect mind you, but I would like to think that my son is a happy kid and I have something to do with that.

3. I have realized how important friendship and family is in my life.

4. And lastly - Even after almost 8 years of marriage, I still love Jason as much or even more than the day I met him. He is my rock and I could never imagine not having him in my life. Love you babe!

Now that we have made it into 2010 I have some resolutions I am wanting to work on with my photography and personal life.

Personal:

1. Lose 30 pounds by my 10 year Reunion in August. (I know, I'm old)
2. Be more organized
3. Be more active

1. Get into Wedding Photography
2. Keep it Simple!!

Our Christmas was great this year! We made it to Price at 9:30 pm and really didn't have time to take photos of Christmas Eve. We ate some good food and opened our PJs. Then it was bedtime for the boy so Santa could come :)

Gingerbread 2009

Last night was our construction of our yearly gingerbread house. AJ was too busy eating the candy to notice the house but, it will be something he can enjoy in years to come :)

Also, my baby turned 20 months yesterday. It's crazy to think in 4 months he is going to be 2 years old!

I Think I'm being a Scrooge This Year...

I am not normally a huge Christmas fan and this year has been no exception. The trees are up and SOME of the decorations (most are in the box in the basement). No lights are up outside and most nights I don't even turn on the tree.

With Jason working retail our Holidays just go down the drain. This year I am staying in Price for an extra 4 days to spend time with my mom and Steph so that should make for a good time. I really need some Christmas cheer!

Thanksgiving Koss Family Style

Our Thanksgiving was great! The food was yummy and we love seeing family.

On Tuesday we took AJ to the Doctor because he had a fever and just wasn't feeling too good. Turns out the poor little guy had infections in both ears and a fever of 100.2. I hate seeing him sick :( He started feeling better by Thanksgiving but was still a little moody, and I can tell you antibiotics are amazing! He is pretty much back to normal and his fever was pretty much gone by Thursday night.

Well, back to our Thanksgiving activities...it has been a while since we have gone out shooting as a family and we figured that night would be perfect to have some fun.

Today was AJ's first day in Nursery and it went very well. Once he saw the toys he let go of my hand and didn't even notice when I left him there.

I felt a little sad leaving him ( I have issues ) but I figure he's my first so I can be sad. It was nice to preform my calling and not have to chase a little one down the halls too.

So we had a good day even with a bonk on the head with another kiddo (the other guy took it harder than AJ did).

We watched the all new How I Met Your Mother today which we missed from Monday night and Alyson Hannigan was wearing this really cute outfit that I just loved and told Jason I just HAD to have it! I of course when on the search for the cheapest version possible :) Sorry I don't have a pic of her wearing the outfit so use your imagination. She was wearing a really ruffly purple shirt under a light grey cardigan with dark denim skinny jeans. Here's what I've come up with...I have the skinny jeans already...

She wore light brown thigh high boots over the jeans. So cute! I need help choosing the right boot. So here are some examples... thank you for the comments I have received so far:) I am aiming more towards #2 but, you can still comment and change my mind...

Let me know what you think. I am hoping for this as a Christmas present and if not then I guess I can wait our anniversary :)

I got 4 new backdrops for pictures to prepare for the cold weather coming up. I also moved my living room around so I can now use light coming through the window for great results. I wanted to know what everyone thinks of my new changes and my first try at my new studio look :) I also had the cutest subject you could ask for! For Halloween Grammy and Boppa came to visit. They surprised AJ with a Mickey Mouse, his favorite character on Disney. He loves him and has to have him all the time right next to him. And has to take his nap with Mickey too:) His favorite thing to do with Mickey is wrestle and it is a hoot to watch. The last time I caught them at it my camera was right there so you get to join in the fun...

Halloween 2009

For Halloween Grammy and Boppa came to visit. We went to dinner and AJ got to go trick or treating for the first time. Jason and Grandpa took him around the neighborhood while me and my mom handed out candy:) Isn't he the cutest little monster you have ever seen?

Before Halloween we took AJ to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. We jumped on the big pillows, went down slides, investigated the inside of a monster, and got lost in the corn maze :) It was a way cold day so we were there for maybe an hour or so but, we had fun and thank goodness for our 2 for 1 coupon! Plus if you haven't tried it yet, go to El Pollo Loco in Lehi, it's so good and Jason loves the flan.

Today for a fun family day, we went to a pumpkin patch in West Jordan to pick some pumpkins for our yearly Carving Family Night. AJ had so much fun walking around the pumpkins and of course finding rocks! We later carved them this evening but, those photos will be posted soon (not uploaded yet).

Who Done It?

For my party this year we had a Mystery Dinner Party. Everyone dressed up in costumes and had lots of fun.

We ate Cafe Rio, drank fake Champaine and ate the yummiest cake ever! Everyone did very well playing their character and we were all surprised to find out who the killer was.

Crazy, Busy Life!

Well, we just got back from Vegas last night. We saw family, ate good food and of course got to hold Jaedyn! For those of you who don't know that is our adorable new niece. We spent the weekend down where it is 80 degrees still (blah). Jaron got baptized, and Jaedyn was blessed. Thanks for the fun time guys and we are so proud of you Jaron, you are one awesome kid! i was way excited I got to take Jaedyn's blessing photos ( I will post them soon, I am up to my eyes in editing and print orders so give me a few days for those).

In other news, we painted our front room and kitchen. i need to take some photos of that too so everyone can see how wonderful it is! Now I just need new furniture and decorations to finish it off and make it ME. Once I have time I will share what we have done. It took us almost 3 years to do anything but, it was worth the wait!

AJ will be 18 months this Saturday and is so entertaining! I loved having him little but, he's getting way fun now and is giving me a good workout.

That's all I have time for now but, I will post more pics soon!

I went looking for AJ's Halloween costume today. I was looking for the wolf costume from "Where The Wild Things Are" and the only option I would had was to make it and I just don't have the time (maybe next year?). On my trip to Babies R Us for some undershirts, I found this...

Isn't it funny? And I got it on SALE for $18! When we got home he pulled it out of the bag and wanted to wear it (he got mad when I took it off in the store). He then started crawling around growling! We will have one fun Halloween I think :)

So I know it's the 8 year anniversary of one of the most tragic days in US history, and I am so proud to be an American and that there are so many men and women who have fought and will fight for our freedom and way of life.

There is another reason I will always remember this day 8 years ago...it just happened to be the day Jason told me he loved me! He's always bringing up that not only did he muster up the courage to tell me that, I decided to say THANK YOU instead of saying the same back! Don't worry it happened a few days later, I was just caught off guard!

Don't forget the events that happened on September 11th, I know I never will for two reasons.

Another Fun Adventure with the Goddard Family!!

A new weekly adventure for us! We drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon (all the way).

We stopped just above the ski lodges and had a picnic. Then we went for a little hike (when I say hike I mean a strole for AJ to pick up rocks!).

You can't tell in this picture but, he found a pine cone in the flowers.

I love this pic of my boys! The clouds went over the sun right when I snapped this photo giving me perfect light! And AJ would not stand still for the picture unless he had the pine cone to hold.

To finish off our trip we took a dirt road over to Park City. We walked down main street and had some ice cream. On our way down to Park City we came upon this site above. We thought it was interesting how the lift seat was stopped right above the road. I of course had to take a picture!

AJ Vs. The SQUID!

More from our little trip to Saltair. This first one is of the steps to the trolley car (we didn't want to take him inside for the floor was rotting). The squid was so GREAT! I love the green, and the eyes are cool! The one with the face kinda creeps Jason out but, I thought is was artistic, and the little alien at the end is about as tall as AJ. I wanted to get a close shot of it but, someone else was taking senior pictures on that side of the building and I didn't want to bother them.

A few days ago we took a ride out to Saltair to see it during the day. We have been to concerts but, we wanted to see it in the light. When we got there we realized they had a trail to the beach! So we took the boy out to the water and took some way fun pictures! They are pretty mixed up but, you get the idea.

I love this picture! Doesn't look like he's doing air guitar? Hee Hee!

After the beach we went down the road to a really cool spot that had lots of graffiti and an old trolley train. I will add those photos soon. We are thinking of getting our family photos there soon too!

16 Months!

So we got back from Price around 7:00pm on Saturday night. AJ and I had so much fun spending time with family for a week!

We did lots of fun things, but of course got to do a lot of relaxing too. We ate, shopped, read books, took 2 trips to the coral, went to International Days at the park, and saw the Parade on Saturday morning.

My cousin Janice was visiting her mom for the same days as me too so we got to see her and the kids. Zack was trying to teach AJ to walk (he is so close) and how to get into things. I got to see Mckade again, he's getting so big!

Thanks for the fun times family! We are missing you already. Grandma was enjoying feeding AJ every morning, and giving him baths in the sink.

20 Pounds...

So I have been contimplating starting to lose some weight and I think I have decided to do it! I'm here in Price still and got talking to my little sis and she told me take it slow and start small so...as of today I am giving up soda for good. Please wish me luck on this, I'm not quite addicted but is something that needs to be done!

This is my first goal, and I will be coming up with more that I will be post randomly. I feel if I put it on here I will really do it plus, I will have lots of supporters cheering me on right?

I plan on at least losing 10 pounds by my Birthday and then the full 20 by the end of the year.

And if anyone has any suggestions or tricks let me know. I'm pretty much up for trying anything. So help me out!

Still loving my little vacation here in Price and so is the babe.

Going to Price Again...

Yes I am. AJ and I are spending the week with Grandma and Grandpa until Saturday! It will be great to take a small vacation and get out of town for a little while.

Just some updates while I'm on here too! AJ is so close to walking....it's crazy! We went into Best Buy this evening and we were talking about how great it will be to have him walk around holding your hand than having to hold him. I know, I know, everyone keeps saying I'll regret wanting him to walk but he's just so cute on those little feet!

I've been crazy busy with the photo taking and have met some great people! Check out the blog link at the top of this page to see what's new. I feel like I get sooo much better every session I do!

Look forward to some pics from our vacation this week and moving the Websters next Tuesday. Plus we are going camping next weekend so we have lots coming up! Sorry for such a random post, I just wanted to put something for the week.

Mirror Lake.

We had a great weekend so hence the picture overload.

My parents came up and we decided to get out of the 100 degree weather and head up where it was cooler. We went to Mirror Lake and looked at a lot of surrounding spots.

When first getting there we took a ride up Spring Canyon (very rocky dirt road). We stopped to take some pics of AJ for his 15 month shoot and got forced back into the truck by the bugs! Yuck!!

We then stopped to see the Duchesne Tunnel. You can't see it too well from the trail but we got to put AJ in the pack and Grandpa carried him down the trail. You'll see in the pictures below he wasn't too much of a fan, but he got to take two pine cones with him and he seemed to enjoy the trip.

We then made it to Mirror Lake. Sorry no photos, the boys were the only ones to trek out there and Jason didn't take the camera. What I did see of the Lake is was so pretty. Hidden in lots of trees and there were lots of cool picnicing spots around too!

We then headed back down and stopped at the Provo River Falls. they were so pretty and AJ loved getting out of his carseat for a while and not getting eaten by bugs.

On our way back to the house we stopped in Park City to eat. We ate at a great Pizza and Pasta place on Historic Main Street and walked around the shops for awhile.

We enjoyed our time with Grandma and Grandpa and hope they had fun too! We scouted out some great camping spots for our camping trip in August. Which will be AJ's first time sleeping in a tent! Wish us luck with that.

I love the picture below! You really can't tell unless you really look close but, this is my parents playing with AJ while we were at the falls. I was walking up the trail and looked through the trees and saw them playing patty cake on a bench! Love it, love them!

Harry Potter Date Night...

We don't go on too many date nights. We decided to drop the kid off across the street and go to Harry Potter. I would have to say we haven't been to a movie on Opening Night for a long time so it was crazy to be in a Theater that was packed.

We had fun and I enjoyed the movie. Jason was a little dissapointed but, they can't put everything in from the books!

I had a photoshoot at Temple Square yesterday and it was Jason's day off. The boys came downtown with me and we had some Family Fun!
First we went to The Gateway and walked around (it was great to get out). We ate dinner at Jason's Deli so yummy!
We then went to Temple Square and the boys hung out while I took some cute family photos. They were for the winner of my FREE photo session I gave away last month! I haven't finished any yet, but I will for sure post some when I can!

After Temple Square we took the long way back to the car and stopped to see the The Lion House and other things along the way. We weren't quite ready to head home quite yet so we took a ride up behind the Capital Building and looked at the great views of the valley. We even passed the entrance to Ensign Peak while we were driving around.

I'm sorry for the small amount of posts lately. I guess I just feel like not too much is going on in the life of the Goddards. Jason has been crazy busy with work and I've been taking pictures like crazy! On Friday we hung out with the Websters and Chew, which was way fun! We took Cassie's bridals and I know they are almost 6 years late but, we got some great shots (it was one HOT day at Wheeler Farm)!

AJ is still as cute as ever! He's still not walking yet, but we are letting him go at his own time. We are enjoying having him in our home and he totally makes my day with that sweet little smile!

We had a great 4th of July! We hung out with friends and family.

To start out our day we partied with Isabel's family by BBQing, swimming and lots of fun music! We then met in Ogden at Javiers and ate some great food. That night we traveled to Brigham City to see the fireworks and then a night of games at Chew's. Thanks friends and family! We love you all!

Sunday was Caleb's blessing. Everything went great! Good food and family always makes for a good time!

An old friend of Jason's from High School contacted me about designing a logo for her cake company she is starting and this is what we got from it! What a week!!

As some of you know i was in Price for the week. We had so much fun and loved having a little vacation. Here are some highlights from our trip....

AJ had his very first trip to the pool! He was scared at first but really started to enjoy the water after awhile.

Lot's of playing on Grandma's floor.

Eating new things like string cheese, fruit snacks, and chicken fingers.

And teaching Grandpa the hot dog dance and playing with Steph's new puppy Remy.

Jason got down there on Friday and we helped with the Demolition Derby on Saturday. It turned out real well this year and we made lots of money!

Thanks for letting us stay Grandma and can't wait until next time!

Happy Fathers Day to the great Dads in my life!

First to my Daddy, who is my HERO! You have always been there for me and supported me with everything I have done. I am so proud to call you DAD.

Second to my Father in Law who if it wasn't for your teachings and support for Jason, he would not be the Husband and Father he is today!

And last but not least, Jason. you are an amazing Dad and Husband! We both love you so much and we hope you have a great day.

I also want to put a shout out to Jason's Grandpas on this special day. And to my Grandpas who are not with us, but I know they are both looking down on us and AJ!

14 Months...

AJ is now 14 months old! Here are some of his favorite things...

1. He loves watching Disney Channel in the morning. He dances loves the music and characters. His favorite shows are -
Special Agent Oso, Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and My Friends Tigger and Pooh.

2. AJ loves playing in tunnels. Grandma got him one from IKEA and when it is put away, he uses our legs.

3. He likes to stack blocks and put things away.

4. He loves to tackle his dad. The other day he decided it would be funny to bite Jason while he had him down:)

5. AJ can't walk yet, he's just not interested. but he stands up and claps his hands all the time and is now playing peekaboo and waving hello and goodbye!

We had to to do our monthly photoshoot so here are some...

The weather this last week has kinda got me down. I love warm sunny days and rain just makes me mopey and I don't want to do anything. So I feel like I'm so behind in the chores area.

One the good things this week was a had a photoshoot on Wednesday and we finished right before it started to pour, AGAIN! Here is one...

He had some visitors for 3 days this week. Cassie's Grandpa has passed away and they stayed here for a few days, to take care of some things. We love you guys, and we hope everything goes well.

Yesterday my bestest friend Anika got sealed to her sweet hubby. I was going to take pictures afterwards at the Draper Temple but, the weather kept that from happening! It started when I got there and then when I got home it stopped and the skies cleared. Yep, just my luck! I am so happy for her though and wish them luck in August with the new baby!

Big Boy Hair Cut!

Today AJ got a hair cut. I did it all on my own so I didn't get any pictures sorry. He did so good! I learned as long as he was playing with something he would sit still for me and even giggled a few times when it tickled his ears. My baby now had a big boy hair cut like his daddy and all the baby hair is gone sniff, sniff. all the dark is gone and now all that is left is the blonde, when I was cleaning up I noticed he has lots of red in his hair so I guess there is Atwood in him somewhere.

I am also having a good day today because I received my Miller Printing package in the mail today! Miller is a professional printing company who I am now a member of for my printing for my designs and photography. Everything looks so professional and the prices are excellent so I'm looking forward to my first order through them! You can check out what they carry here if you would like!

Than a picture of my adorable BOYS!

Seeing this photo make me realize how awesome my hubby is. Look at the way he looks at our little guy. The last month has been crazy in our household. Jason has been working Graveyard and it's been so hard not having him home at night!

These last few day I have been thinking about my life and our little family. I appreciate what Jason has done for me and AJ, and all he has sacrificed to make our life's the way they are today. If it wasn't for our decision for me to stay home, I wouldn't be the Mother I am. We have sacrificed many things to be where we are in life...and money may be a little tight some times but we are happy and that's all I could ask for. I love you honey!

I also wanted to let my bestest friend in the world that I love her and am so happy she is well! I know life is crappy right now but you have an amazing husband and wonderful friends that would do anything for you. You are amazing! Plus 18 more days and those stinking braces come off!

Tuesday we went to the zoo which you have already seen the pictures of. Thanks again Grandma for the fun day!

We went to Sandy and Chuck's reception on Wednesday night. The pics I took for her Bridals turned out beautifully and the wedding was so pretty! Congrats you two!!

On Thursday Joe graduated from High School in Ogden! We are so proud of you Joe, and wish you nothing but the best for your future. We went to the commencement and then went to Javiers for dinner. It was great to see family we haven't seen for awhile including Jason's sis Megan and Great Grandpa Dennis and Great Grandma Kathy. We also got to see Great Grandma Georgia and Great Grandpa Mickey (who is doing wonderfully after the Hospital scare). We love you all!

On Saturday we partied with the Websters by going to UP in theaters (awesome!). We then played games and ate pizza. Adam is not eating pizza again until when school starts back up again. Good luck!

I also wanted to wish Cassie good luck for tomorrow. We love you so much, and we will be here for you whenever you need! Love you guys!!

Animal Day!!

Today us girls took AJ to the Zoo! We saw lots of animals, rode the train, and AJ took his first carousel ride. We had so much fun and we found out AJ LOVES the giraffes. Best day ever! Thanks Grandma!

Holy cow what a crazy busy week! I had a Newborn session, 2 Senior sessions and a Family session all in one week! Things are really picking up, now all I need is a Wedding and I will have made my photography goals for the year already. Thank you to everyone who has helped me out and given me the confidence I need to start this little endevor! I love you all!

On Saturday we had a LATE Birthday party for Jason. We BBQed (Shish Kabobs and Pineapple), went to the park for a little bit, and played fun games! Thanks friends for coming, thanks for the gifts, and it was way nice to see Ian! We've all missed you tons!

13 Months old and other randomness...

AJ is now 13 months old and climbing everything he sees! I have to stay with my plan to take pictures of him every month. I got a new filter for my camera and had to use it for his pictures!

Plus below is some pictures from a double baby shower we had for my cousin and my other cousin's wife. Heidi A. is having a girl and Heidi L. is having a boy. It was fun to have a double shower plus half boy - half girl theme. They got some great presents and we played the usual party games. It was fun to see family and see how big the girls are getting.

Later on Saturday night we went to dinner with the fam to Tucanos (yummmmmy!) for Jason's birthday. Thanks mom and dad for the good food and fun times like always!

Speaking of Jason's birthday, it was great! We went to Ogden to eat at Javier's and stopped at a great custard place on our way home (thanks Ron!).

Hey everyone! I hope all you ladies had a great mothers day and enjoyed your time with your mom and family! I had a good mothers day. Well first of all I got an eclair at church, and had a special lesson in the chapel with the young women and Relief Society. When I got home Jason made dinner and we had cake for dessert! I want to thank my boys for the wonderful day, I love you tons!

Yesterday I did a fun photoshoot of Cassie's little sister Kimbrienne and it was so cute! Me and AJ also got to spend the day with Cassie and we had a blast!

Crazy week!

This last week was a crazy one for our family...

Monday: We stayed in Price Sunday night and headed back home Monday morning. On our way we stopped in Lehi to see baby Caleb and Jason's mom. The baby and Amy were sleeping so we stayed for lunch and headed home to do some unpacking and go grocery shopping.

Tuesday: We went to Brigham City to see Jason's Grandpa in the hospital. He had surgery the week before and there were some complications, sending him back into the hospital for a few days. He is doing a lot better now and got to go home a few days ago. While in Brigham we hung out with some family we don't see too often and we really enjoyed the time with family and are happy to have Grandpa Mickey feeling better!

Wednesday: I took Shelly and Rick's pictures! We can't wait for baby Medley to come!

That night Cassie and I had a baby shower for Michelle. We went to dinner at Chilis, opened presents and just had a blast sitting and talking, and trying to give Michelle ideas for names.

I also got my hair cut and colored. It was in huge need of a trim, and I got bangs! Scary!

Moab

Jason had a full week off of work and we took a small vacation (sort of) the first Saturday he was off. On April 25th we went down to Moab to the car show and had so much fun! AJ's birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa was a little car he sits in and you push behind like a stroller. He loves it! He go to go around the car show showing off his new toy!

We then went to Hole in the Rock and walked around for a little bit. We didn't go on the tour because it is way expensive and it isn't very long either.

That evening we went to Arches and it started to rain so the brave ones went on some hikes while the rest of us stayed inthe car with the baby. Jason got some great pictures.

We had a long day and headed back to Price around 8:00pm so everyone was tired and went to sleep with the baby. Thanks for the fun trip Mom and Dad!

This has been one crazy week! Jason has inventory at work on Sunday/Monday and had to work graveyard which was really hard on me and AJ. We got to cuddle and watch movies and have mommy/baby time!

Monday afternoon we took AJ in for his 1 year doctor's appointment and found out that he is over 31 inches long!! He is growing very well and is a very healthy little guy and the doctor is very happy about that! Later that night we went out to dinner with the Websters and had really good food and the company was the best!

Tuesday I took some Engagement photos for a way awesome couple in Lehi, and we had a blast! To see them go here.

Wednesday and Thursday Jason had these two days off and we did lots. We got the front brake pads on the car fixed and got the oil changed too. We also found out today that we have a new nephew! Caleb Peck was born at 1:00 today and is 9 lbs, 2 oz. and 19 inches long. He is so sweet and has the chubbiest cheeks and a double chin already.

What a great week and we are even leaving tomorrow to go down to Moab for the weekend. Jason has next week off too and we will be doing some painting and things so I will have pictures. I will hopefully be able to steal Caleb for some newborn pics also.

Stephanie took his one year pictures last weekend but, I wanted some of him on his actual birthday so here they are. He likes to pose for the camera now so cute!

We invited our neighbor across the circle who babysits AJ every once in a while. She came with her mom and they gave AJ this cute truck. Every time we go to the store and see it he wants it so now he has one of his own.

Jason and I gave him this cute little farmhouse with tons of animals that make noise. He's been playing with it all morning!
