The Green Bean Monster/ Furry Momma

I know some more eating pics but, he's just so cute I can't help myself.  When AJ turned 4 months old our Pediatrician told me to start him on solids.  He had problems with the Rice Cereal at first but, it was just something new.  Then we started him on Veggies and that's what he loved!  Well until we tried the Green Beans.  For some reason it was so trammatic!  He screamed and screamed until I fed him squash, then he was happy.  A few weeks later I decided to try the Green Beans again and now they are one of his favorites!

When I became pregnant with AJ we had just got the dog fixed.  before he was way wound up and crazy sometimes.  We were so afraid of how he was going to be with the baby.  We talked about it and had come to the decision that if he was bad, even though it would be very hard, we would have to give him up.  The more pregnant I got the calmer Toby became.  At that time Jason was working graveyard so when I would get home from work I would be so warn out I would crash on the couch.  Toby would lay with me with his head on my pregnant belly sometimes and just let the baby kick.  9 months pass and we now have a new baby.  Bringing him home at first Toby was very curious, wondered what the new smells were and who this new addition was.  Months go by and he starts to ignore the baby and was just content on just being near you while you held him.  About a week ago things changed.  Toby would never get too close to the baby.  AJ started wanting to be on his belly and would drool like crazy and of course here comes Toby wanting to clean him up.  I was doing the dishes last week and checked on them both and there was Toby laying next to AJ on the blanket, this was a first!  AJ had dropped his binky and I went to put it back in his mouth and Toby growled at ME.  Aparently I got too close to his baby!  Great, now there is someone else he is protective of.  Sometimes when me and Jason get too close Toby gets mad at me.  I guess the boys have to stick together.  Now we have another mom in the house.

Oh how funny! Dogs are crazy creatures. I just read on my other friend's blog that when her newborn was left alone with the dad and got really fussy he put her near their family dog and the baby immediately calmed down. There was a picture of her laying against the dogs belly-both as content as could be. You're story reminded me of that!

Taffy never stays close to Luke for too long, he's to good at ripping out her hair and thinking it's hilarious when she whimpers. She always comes back for more though, she MUST love him deep down or I think she'd just hide under the bed.

Ha ha! We have a JRT too & she loves our boys. Logan can be really rough with her but luckily she's tough & doesn't mind. Plus she's fast & can outrun him. We also have a chihuahua & he's a different story. He likes Carson because he's not a threat but avoids Logan at all costs.
