20 Pounds...

So I have been contimplating starting to lose some weight and I think I have decided to do it! I'm here in Price still and got talking to my little sis and she told me take it slow and start small so...as of today I am giving up soda for good. Please wish me luck on this, I'm not quite addicted but is something that needs to be done!

This is my first goal, and I will be coming up with more that I will be post randomly. I feel if I put it on here I will really do it plus, I will have lots of supporters cheering me on right?

I plan on at least losing 10 pounds by my Birthday and then the full 20 by the end of the year.

And if anyone has any suggestions or tricks let me know. I'm pretty much up for trying anything. So help me out!

Still loving my little vacation here in Price and so is the babe.

Good luck on your goal. In about 4weeks I will be starting my own weight loss goal. Josh said we are going to do it together, we'll see how long that lasts!

good for you! since graduating school in December of 2006 I have dropped about 15 lbs. My success came straight from changing the way I eat and moving more. I try to do SOMETHING active everyday. I eat 6 SMALL meals daily rather than 3 larger meals. I also don't deprive myself of anything...I eat what I want and what I changed was HOW MUCH i allow myself to partake. Good Luck! :)

I need to do this challenge too:) I am having a hard time fitting into my clothes. I am actually still wearing some maternity stuff. All in time, right? Remember to eat. You need to keep up your metabolism.

I need to do the same thing. I'm thinking when I start back to work it will be easier to cut back on the soda and crap that eat while I'm at home all day. Plus I don't know why, but it is so much easier for me to drink water at work than it is for me at home! Good Luck!

Good luck. James and I gave up soda about 8 years ago. We'll have one occasionally (usually New Years Eve), but it's been great not having it around. Then our kids don't ask for it either. My suggestion would be to keep lots of fruits around to munch on when you get hungry. I stay stocked up on grapes, strawberries, bananas, and apples. That way when I just have the munchies, I don't feel guilty eating these as a snack!
